JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

The Strategic Pricing Regional Manager will lead the development and execution of strategic pricing processes to support the continuous development of strategic pricing people, process and technology capabilities across businesses. In this role, you will lead the execution of profitability optimization projects across the business and provide leadership for the continuous optimization of critical pricing capabilities such as value based pricing, customer, consumer and retail pricing, large deal pricing and negotiations and pricing science, analytics and technology

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead the execution of multiple profitability optimization projects.
  • Identify, analyze and monitor value opportunities through Strategic Pricing principles and processes applications. Monitor progress on action plans to capture that value.
  • Deploy strategic pricing capabilities across the business, aligned with Protein 2025 strategy, market dynamics and business-consumers-customer’s needs.
  • Implement and deploy the pricing technology platform across the businesses. Ensure the right level of adoption among local pricing teams and key users.
  • Define roadmaps and execute initiatives by leading new approaches for large deal negotiations.
  • Develop execution strategies for the deployment of pricing as an end to end process from strategic considerations to actual price setting techniques, governance and supporting technology.
  • Review business need assessments with regard to data and technological requirements and make realistic return on investment recommendations.
  • Monitor trends and pricing developments and trends and ensure new thought leadership and new capabilities are introduced across business groups.
  • Determine consumers’ and customers’ willingness to pay for our brands, calculate target price spreads and led the organization to reach the brand price positioning target. Ensure brand price differentiation rules compliance.
  • Evaluate hypotheses for profit improvement opportunities, validate with data and facts and execute the strategy for deployment projects to capitalize on the opportunities.
  • Lead the execution of different pricing strategies and improve sustainable profitability in collaboration with various internal functions, including commercial, product line, sales, marketing and finance.
  • Estimate demand elasticity on pricing action plans to assess the correct value behind proposed price actions.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Economics, Industrial Engineering, Commercial Engineering, Finance) or equivalent experience.

  • Financial knowledge for profit and loss, margin and price decision making

  • Analytical proficiency to derive insights from large and complex sets of business data

  • Experienced in project and change management

  • Minimum of six years of related work experience

  • Advanced English is required

  • Proven work experience leading pricing decisions on CPGs companies for at least three years is mandatory for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three years of supervisory experience

  • Business analytics or data science training and work experience.
