The Strategic Pricing Lead will develop and execute competitive pricing strategies to achieve the corporate revenue goals, by analyzing from multiple sources, develop complex pricing models and closely collaborate with other commercial stakeholders (e.g.: Sales, Marketing, Trading, FP&A, etc.). In this role, you will be key in delivering complex pricing optimization projects in a practical manner. You will become a specialist in foundational and innovative pricing approaches and act as a knowledge center to pricing and commercial leaders


  • Support the deployment of strategic pricing capabilities for GEOS MX, in line with their strategies, market dynamics and needs
  • Support building our detailed roadmap definition and implementation of initiatives with a lead by example implementation style
  • Support the deployment of pricing as an end-to-end process, from strategic considerations to actual price setting techniques, governance and the support of technology
  • Continuously evaluate pricing developments and trends to ensure new thought leadership and capabilities to be introduced
  • Generate hypotheses for profit improvement opportunities, validate with data and analyses and suggest deployment projects
  • Support the development of core pricing frameworks and thought leadership, to act as the critical guideline for the team when engaging with the other business groups
  • Contribute to cross functional teams with solid and measurable analysis, implement strategic roadmaps, handle key engagement interviews and research and facilitate workshops and advise and earn the title of trusted advisor
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff
  • Other commercial duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proficient on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Track record of identifying margin improvement opportunities via the pricing lever
  • Minimum of five years of related work experience- B2B Pricing
  • Excellent English Skills (written and verbal)


  • Master's degree
  • Analysis software experience using tools like Alteryx, Knime, Tableau and Power BI
  • Trade analytics expertise
  • Consistent track record in food ingredients or commodity environments, preferably in the pricing/commercial space
  • Certification in pricing (PPS)
